Bai has a plan: if Asian hornets can pretend to be bees, they might be able to sneak into a bee hive and bring back honey. With her nervous friend Risa by her side, Bai practices awkward bee dances, gathers pollen, and tries to blend in with the workers of a highly guarded hive.At first, the disguise works better than expected. But once the bee enforcer Nahia and the suspicious worker Kevin start watching closely, Bai and Risa’s “pseudo bee” mission quickly turns into a risky escape. Risa makes it back to the nest with the honey, but Bai is captured inside the hive — and the cliffhanger suggests Bai may still have a trick of her own.This issue includes a bonus page featuring Rusty Mandible, showing that even the bees recognize the spirit of a true pathfinder.
